Revamping

I am revamping the blog. I attended a Public Relations conference in Chicago last week, hence the sever lack in posts. PR is my major, and chosen career field. I cannot wait to get out in the “real world” and start working! So, during the conference I attended a couple social media sessions and was in awe of how key the role of social media is in PR these days. I knew it was big, I’m from the generation that is most fluent with Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace.

So look for blogs to follow what kick butt PR women like Sarah Evans @prsarahevans and Gini Dietrich @ginidietrich as well as follow articles like Forbes 14 most powerful women on Twitter.

I look forward to posting again later this week. I’m currently working on The North Wind’s social media (www.thenorthwindonline.com) as well as putting the finishing touches on NMU’s PRSSA winter fundraising campaign for Teaching Family Homes.
